Getty Inspired

July 21, 2017

On my most recent trip back to my motherland of Los Angeles, I went to the Getty Museum! The Getty is one of my favorite spots in LA; it's a whole world of pre-20th century European art all in the heart of the city. I love that this history is showcased in such a modern part of the world. In addition to being wicked cool, it's also a fantastic place for pictures!! While strolling through the Getty, I was inspired by the art I saw, and realized how so much of the modern styles of today were influenced by the past. Check out some inspiring styles below and click to shop my Getty Inspired pieces!

Big Love,

The bare shoulder trend has been EVERYWHERE this spring and summer. Shoulders are one of the most flattering body parts to display and this trend works for everyone! When I saw this painting, I died…I too was wearing an off the shoulder top. Coincidence? Oh most definitely, but still funny. Shop some bare shoulder tops below!

I know what you're thinking; yet another impossible beauty standard for today's modern woman. This statue displays the beauty of the female form and empowers women to practice self love! Girl power or no power! Check out my favorite pieces below!
